Victorian Bushfire Appeal - Dubai Fundraiser to be held at Barasti, Le Meridien Mina Seyahi
Barasti, Le Meridien Beach Resort & Marina to host the Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fundraiser on 14th March from 12 – 6pm.
All proceeds during that period from drinks and the Aussie BBQ will go towards the appeal. There’s also the opportunity to win some fabulous prizes from The Westin Heavenly Spa, Puma, Le Meridien, Al Boom Marine, Cinestar, Holeys, EMU Australia, Lime Tree and many more.

“Barasti would like to welcome all expats, Australian or otherwise to join us as we assist our Australian friends through this terrible tragedy. Barasti are proud to donate funds from drinks sold on the evening plus other money to this worthy cause.” Explains Shaun Parsons, Hotel Manager, Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina.
A worthwhile cause and a great chance to embrace your Australian spirit.
The event is being coordinated by a group of Aussie expats who have been compelled by the circumstances back in Australia to help out. Along with Le Meridien they have been working in support of the Australia New Zealand Association who’s patron is the Australian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Jeremy Bruer.
John Butler (State Government of Victoria Australia – Commissioner Middle East & North Africa) continues, “If you’re an Australian expat in Dubai and you’re not down at Barasti on the 14th March then where are you?”
Overlooking the Arabian Sea, Barasti at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina is an award winning vibrant beach venue full of excitement. With great music, a delectable menu and delicious cocktails – it’s no wonder Barasti has become an icon of the Dubai social scene.
